I. Learning Materials
1. Expression for admittting and denying a fact
1). To admit a fact, you could use these expressions:
• Yes, I admit it.
• Yes, I did ….
• Yes, it’s true.
2). To deny a fact, you could use these expressions:
• I’m not lying, Dad. (actually you lie).
• No, I didn’t say that. (actually you said it).
• The flower smells good. (actually the flower smells bad)
How To Express Admitting and Denying Facts
Admitting facts:
* Yes, that's right.
* Absolutely.
* That's it.
Denying facts:
* No, it isn't, actually.
* I'm afraid that's wrong.
* It's not true.
To practice, please answer the following questions using the above expressions. Say it fast and loud.
1. I think you are afraid of spiders.
2. Your English is improving so far.
3. SBY isn't a good president.
4. You often get up late in the morning

a. Pre Activity
1. Greetings and scolds greet
2. To check student attendance
3. Question and answer various issues related phrases will be learned
4. Deliver the learning objectives to be achieved

6. Connecting the material to students' lives every day to gain an understanding of students.
b. Main Activity
A) Exploration
In Exploration activity the teacher:
• Listening to the dialogue on the expression of admitting and denying a fact through the words of teachers or electronic media such as CD, podcast, or MP3.
• Identify difficult vocabulary associated with the expression of admitting and denying a fact and use grammar to form simple sentences.
• Finding the type of sentence used in the expression of the offer, ask danmenolak services and goods, acknowledge and deny the facts, ask for and give opinions and provide goods and services
B) Elaboration.
In Elaboration the teacher ask the students to:
• Discussing the phrase that has been found in accordance with the student learning objectives.
• Responding to spoken sentences related teacher admitting and denying a factdengan mimicked back.
• Answering questions about the content of the expression admitting and denying a fact through the spoken expression of the teacher or through the media.
C) Confirmation.
In confirmation the teacher:
• Provide feedback on the expression of admitting and denying a fact that has been demonstrated.
• Create a summary of the material on admitting and denying a fact.
c. Post Activity
1. Ask a variety of students difficulties.
2. Summing up the matter and the things that have been discussed.
3. Students have a duty to use expressions that have been learned in real situations.
4. Submit items to be discussed at an upcoming meeting.

VI. Assesment.
While listening, complete the dialogue.
Father : Rian, don’t 1)..........to water the plants. They will die if you do not water them. Twice a day.
Rian : Okay, Dad. I will not forget.
The next day, Rian forget to water the plants. Then, two days later....
Father : Rian, the plants are 2)......... I have told you to water them. Did you water them yesterday?
Rian : Ummmm......... Yes, I did.
Father : But why are the plants dead now? Don’t 3)........to me.
Rian : I do not lie, Dad?
Father : Lying is a bad habbit, isn’t it? Now tell me. Did you water the plants yesterday?
Rian : Actually...... I forgot, Dad.
Father : So you didn’t water the plants.
Rian : No, I didn’t. I’m sorry. I 4)............ I won’t forget next time.
Father : Promise me you won’t lie next time.
Rian : I promise.
Student’s Score = Total Score x 2,5 = 4 x 2,5 = 10
